About the Artist
Welcome to my page. My name is Adebayo Taiwo, a career engineer and a self-taught artist. I have always had a passion for art and as a child I participated in many exhibitions and won some awards. My passion lay dormant for some time due to educational and career commitments, but over the last few years, I have had a resurgence and the work you see on my page today is a reflection of that.
My style is heavily influenced by my Nigerian heritage, and is a fusion of traditional and cultural elements with a modern perspective using acrylics on canvas. I focus on form, figures, colors and textures to produce pieces that leave an indelible impression. My pieces have an element of chaos, but are still cohesive and tend to evoke emotion.
